Business Development Manager (Deal origination) – Petroleum Trading
Our client is a trading arm of a leading independent petroleum company. An opportunity has arisen to hire a dynamic and ambitious individual as its Business Development Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development.
You will be identifying and developing business opportunities for the Company in the Asia Pacific region. This entails the use of market analysis, leads from clients, networking events. You will also establish and develop the senior client relations and build business case for selected projects. You will also generate and negotiate commercial proposals in order to close contracts with oil majors, traders and chemicals producers. Subsequently, you will be expected to perform investment analysis and seek shareholder approval for selected projects, and manage the initial phase of the new projects. This role will require up to 50% travel, dependent on the deals you manage.
You will be degree qualified in a relevant technical or business field, with 7 to 10 years of commercial work experience in MA, corporate finance within the oil gas industry. Deal sourcing experience within Oil Gas will be highly advantageous. You will also possess strong market analysis and networking skills. Only candidates with Asian experience will be considered.
