Business Development Manager, Enterprise Solutions Real-Time
Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Development, Enterprise Solutions Real-time, the person will need to contribute to meeting assigned revenue targets in the sub-region; Generation of new business through supporting the BDM team and providing indepth analysis and insight and by engaging both directly with customers and by driving business through channel groups such as Solutions Sales, Account Managers and PSG; Demonstrates real-time data feeds and real-time data system products and solutions to prospective customers. Completes or assists with completion of RFI/RFP responses. Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs; Maintains knowledge of competing products, in order to provide a differentiated solution. Provides post sales on going customer contact (follow up, resolution, escalation).
- Engage with prospective customers and channel partners
- Achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Act as SME for RDRT, RDFDs (and other real-time feeds), Enterprise Platform for real-time and hosting
- Completion of RFI/RFP responses for EP solutions
- Demonstration of the product suite
- Interface with internal associates, primarily the sales teams, to ensure consistency and accuracy of message.
- Provide support to BDM team, produce indepth analysis and insight.

- Degree educated - ideally a business or technical background, or suitable relevant experience
- Proven track record of selling high value software solutions to the finance sector over 5 year + period.
- Knowledge of market data industry, ideally gained from working for a market participant in this area.
- Working knowledge of data content.
- Solid understanding of financial markets.
- High level understanding of technologies for market data and transactional systems.
- RFP and RFI experience.
- High level of presentation and demonstration skills.
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively facilitate client and other related meetings and/or engagements.
- Ability to remain up-to-date on industry drivers and trends.
- Team player, able to work under pressure and within a small team.
- Autonomy, self-motivation, problem solving and decision making.
