American Air Liquide offers industrial gases and related services to a variety of customers including those in large industry, industrial manufacturing, electronics and healthcare marketplaces.

Position Description:

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
•Build new product/business pipeline for future growth, through exploration of new business, new markets, new applications and depth within existing accounts in the global market. Manage pipeline to ensure that as annual planning activities occur that pipeline has prospects and business in continually growing. Maintain or develop close and strong relationships with global leading universities and medical device manufacturers to identify technology trend/needs and translate into development solution
•Work with RD and operations to develop the cost effective product or technology and align with market needs
•Works with Marketing, Sales and Product management to develop and implement a strategic plan for new and existing products across all key categories and gather and analyze market and customer data to predict trends and opportunities
•Responsible for all aspects of product expertise including pricing strategy, forecasting, and utilization through working with sales, product and operation teams
•Works with Marketing and Sales to Develop Sales Tools associated with Business Development Technology Application offerings. (i.e. Flash Presentations, Brochures, and Training). Recommends and manages related budgets
•Perform joint sales call with sales team where technical/business development expertise may be required.
•Provide training and support/resources to field to drive performance including new product launches, catalogue development and product promotions and sales tools
•Understand customer requirements to develop product solutions with sales, product and operations team
•Responsible for tradeshow and professional associations exhibition selection and exhibition arrangement

General Requirements:
•Demonstrates business acumen in supporting profitable commercial agreements. •Ability to develop strong sustainable relationships with both internal and external customers.
•Ability to work collaboratively with other Air Liquide Entities and to federate the appropriate resources to achieve Air Liquide's business objectives.
•Ability to interface with various levels of management in customer operations such as Vice Presidents, RD, product manager, Engineers, and operations.
•Strong personal interaction skills, including competency in working with customers on a sales level.
•Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Safety and IMS/QMS
•Knowledgeable of and in compliance with Air Liquide's IMS QMS.
•Serves as Owner representative for Business Development Equipment projects. Ensures that all of the training requirements for direct reports are met, up to date, and documented.
•Follows all Air Liquide safety rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, some international travel
•Ability to participate in field demonstrations and tests

Educational Requirements
•B.S. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or other engineering or related science discipline.
•Minimum of 3 years related work experience, preferable in Medical device industry
