Business Development Manager, Hong Kong
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Hong Kong office.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating business from existing and new accounts. The role requires a highly self-motivated and proactive individual to build long-term business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, qualifying and developing potential clients
- Building up a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, events etc.
- Researching client’s business to gain knowledge of clients markets and business goals.
- Managing existing client relationships and developing long-term businesses.
- Working closely with an internal Project Management team to ensure that client expectations are met.
- Preparing proposals and negotiating contracts and agreements
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years track record in a sales or sales-oriented role
- Ideally, with a background in translation, publishing, document services, or other relevant industries
- Client network that includes but is not limited to the following sectors:
- Banking
- Legal
- Other financial services
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Pleasing disposition and aggressive with a “can-do” attitude
