Major international specialty chemical company is searching for a Business Development Manager for their Home Care Chemicals Group. This person will be responsible for supporting the Sales, Marketing and Technical efforts for surfactants and polymers in the Industrial and Institutional Cleaning market. They will work in II products such as Industrial and Institutional cleaners used in janitorial and industrial cleaning. They will also be involved in managing the relationship with the distribution network for II Cleaning market. They will identify customer needs, market trends and manage product launches. They will have constant interaction with the global business team for Home Care Products and manage event marketing and trade shows. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of technical sales, marketing or applications development experience in specialty chemicals used in the II Cleaning industry. Must be familiar with chemicals used in cleaners, floor care, detergents, disinfectants and sanitizers. Previous technical experience as a chemist is a plus. Must have a technical degree, MBA a plus and have strong financial and computer skills. 40% overnight travel required on average.
