Community One Associates, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Development Manager.
The Business Development Manager builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will "grow the company" by researching the market and identifying opportunities to extend or develop new business and to expand Community One Associates product reach and profit revenues.
Primary Responsibilities
Investigate the economic conditions surrounding company's activity such as industry trends and competition and make assessments of target markets and marketing opportunities.
Develop, implement and manage a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals.
Conduct intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
Generate leads and follow up on sales activities; manage, execute and close new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Formulate and prepare a business plan in accordance to the set goals and objectives of Community One Associates.
Develop innovative techniques and new strategies to keep pace with the advancing business world.
Provide market feedback to the Executive Team.
Maintain financial records and stay within proposed budget.
Prepare proposals to include drafting and delivery.
Research financial issues and determine an appropriate solution.
Maintain current knowledge of the latest trends and the growing competition in the market.
Forge relationships and network with other renowned businesses in the market.
Build professional and trusting relationships with customers and strengthen customer base by focusing on exemplary customer satisfaction and a commitment to quality.
Protect Community One Associates value by keeping information confidential.
Skills Abilities
Closing skills are a must with business-to-business sales experience preferred.
A motivation for sales and the ability to prospect potential clients.
Excellent verbal, written, and business analysis skills.
Must have prospecting, sales planning, selling to clients needs, territory management and presentation skills.
Exceptional sales and communication skills and ability to manage the sales process.
Experience working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions.
Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel Spreadsheets, and Outlook.
Ability to travel as required.
Job Qualifications:
Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Marketing or related field from a four (4) year College or University.
Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in marketing, sales and/or business development.
Experience developing Strategic or New Business initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
History of successful business development sales, and working well with teams.
