Our client is a fast growing engineering / manufacturing company based in Rotherham. Through innovation and investment they have managed to carve an excellent global reputation.
This company is now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager who has experience of working globally.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the following;
- Sales, marketing and financial management of new distribution channels throughout Europe
- Providing regional monthly sales forecast for planning and budgeting
- Maintaining industry and competitive awareness
- Monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitor activity
- Providing input to determine strategic marketing plans
- Working with marketing to effectively position and promote products
- Assisting in the development of effective sales tools and training plans
Experience Skills:
- Previous experience in setting up and managing a successful distribution network – essential
- Previous experience in dealing with major OEM accounts
- Sales Marketing experience preferably European
- Excellent present and communication skills
Working Conditions:
- UK resident - Office based
- Significant European travel (4 months on average per year)
