Business Development Manager / Account Manager - My client is a leading business information and software solutions provider based in Manchester. The company are offering this opportunity to join their already successful business and grow your career within the company. The successful candidate will be in charge of developing new business within a given territory within this office / field based role. With strong growth over the last few years my client are looking for you to join their already successful sales team.

Role

- 30k - 40k Basic OTE 80k+ (Dependant On Experience)

Primary Objectives - Business Development Manager / Account Manager

- To achieve new B2B sales revenue targets within an assigned territory / market
- Manage and develop new and existing clients
- Source and identify new business opportunities
- Secure meetings at a strategic / senior management level
- To generate sales in line with company expectations
- Identify and present suitable client solutions
- Self manage full sales cycles

Skills/Experience Required - Business Development Manager / Account Manager

- Successful sales professional, with a proven track record of success
- Experience selling SaaS/software/Data into Corporate market place
- Experience of success in business to business marketplace
- Understanding of direct and indirect sales models
- Ability to travel throughout UK as necessary
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to forecast and manage pipeline
- knowledge of the IT market

Desired - Business Development Manager / Account Manager

- Experience selling software b2b
- Experience selling into the public sector
- Experience in selling Data / Data solutions

Some previous field / new business sales experience is required.
