As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of our client's global reference solution (GRS) within the International Partnerships markets.
Working within the International Partnerships 'Family', you will take responsibility for the GRS revenue and defining the business development strategy in line with business objectives. This will include visiting clients across Europe to drive sales and revenue and will involve a willingness to undertake extensive travel.
You will effectively communicate the GRS direction and plan to the rest of the team, including sales tactics, product development and support and services focuses. Acting as the point of contact for GRS questions for all stakeholders, you will direct, communicate and execute business development activities with each partner, in line with the agreed plan.
Your other duties will include:
- Directing market research and gathering field intelligence
- Leading cross functional teams on business development and product enhancement initiatives
- Using sales tracking to monitor and improve performance and reporting progress
- Owning the development of market insight revenues
To be considered for this unique role, you must have:
- Strong business development experience within a matrix-based organisation including proven business development leadership
- The ability to liaise between departments and partner organisations, influencing, collaborating and motivating others
As a Business Development Manager, you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and the ability to develop trustworthy working relationships with partner and customers. You will be comfortable coping with multi-source pressure.
The ability to speak a second language, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application. Experience within a multi-cultural business environment would also be an advantage.
