The Company
Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company, is seeking a Business Development Manager for their facility near Terre Haute, IN.
The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth for overhaul and repair services with new and existing aerospace and industrial gas turbine customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain key customer relationships with decision makers
· Manage customer expectations in line with operational capabilities
· Support the development of sales plans and campaigns
· Work with internal customers at other sites to coordinate new business sales and quotations
· Develop an understanding of the current needs of the customers and targets and provide competitive analysis of existing suppliers and market developments
· Support continuous improvement activities for products and operational performance
· Ensure sales and marketing activities follow overall divisional guidelines and strategy
Requirements
· 5+ years of technical sales marketing experience
· Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Business Marketing
· Training and certification in continuous improvement; green or black belt
· Gas turbine OEM (GE, Siemens, etc.) and aerospace experience
