Ist Choice, a Management Consulting firm has an IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN EXPERIENCED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of progressive experience with demonstrated account management capabilities, through the developing and maintaining of customer relationships.
Job Description:
- Identify business opportunities and trends for management consulting services, including staffing and records management; this includes Lead generation and identification of new opportunities with existing, former and new clients, and strategic partners
- Allocate and manage resources across multiple simultaneous proposals
- Qualify customers by determining needs, ability-to-buy, and decision making capability
- Planning revenue targets and ensuring on-track achievement with a focus on margin protection
- Execute negotiation and closing techniques to secure profitable business while positioning 1st Choice service offerings with customer contacts
- Consistently meet revenue targets and margin responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Write proposal sections as needed
- Monitor proposals to ensure compliance with evaluation criteria
- Coordinate with other resource centers to ensure all proposal components are completed on time (e.g., contracts, design center, IT)
- Contribute to the development of digital media and communications efforts
- Anticipate and resolve potential problems and bottlenecks
Job Requirements:

- Must also have proven ability to develop and sustain effective client relationships to set up commercial deals
- Proven ability to research and truly understand competitor strengths and weaknesses while effectively articulating 1st Choice’s competitive advantage
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Outstanding presentation skills must be independent and a self-starter
- Prior Salesforce experience
- Sales using social media
