Business Development Manager-Leverage Finance, DCM recruitment

Our client a growing and successful player in the financial services sector are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join the Leverage Finance team

Reporting to the Head of Business Development Relationship Management for Corporates in EMEA, this experienced and motivated individual will be responsible for planning, leading and executing the High Yield (HY)/Leverage Finance (LF) business development strategy in London, together with overseeing HY/LF outreach activities to advisors in Western Europe.

The Business Development team is responsible for generating new business through consistent and targeted activities to High Yield advisory/origination/syndication bankers, restructuring advisors in London.

The role involves some European based travel.

•  You will have direct responsibility for leading, developing and executing the business development strategy within EMEA.

•  An important aspect of the role will be to continue to raise the profile of the business through consistent business development

•  Key responsibilities will include management of existing relationships and origination of new mandates.

Experience required

•  Experience of leverage finance is essential

•  Detailed understanding of DCM/debt capital markets-ideally with a background in origination or advisory capacity or alternatively business development

•  Experience/track record in a business development and relationship management capacity within the banking/financial services/capital markets sector

•  Ability to communicate at Executive level

•  Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are a pre-requisite.
