The Mining / Metals division of this leading Multinational consultancy to the mining space requires a highly technical Business Development Manager to join their team to work with key accounts and large projects.
This is a rare and sought after position with a Minerals and Metals consultancy to International and National markets. They specialise in mining project development and delivery. They provide a turnkey service and have a specific focus on Environmental, Minerals Processing and Geology Engineering.
The Role
You will be tasked with managing the direction of Business Development specifically in the minerals processing department. This requires you to bring your collaboration of commercial acumen and engineering qualifications to secure potential trading partners and consult existing key accounts. You will bring:
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Commercial Acumen with demonstrated ability to secure business, develop tender submissions and contracts within this specific sector
- Ideally you will have five years in a similar role working for a large consultancy.
- Liaise on a technical level with senior management, potential partners and existing key accounts
- Demonstrated reviews, reports and fore cast market trends and operations
- Adhere to safety policy and promote company culture
