Business Development Manager (Services)-Beijing recruitment
Accountabilities
- Cold call new potential clients, as part of specific marketing campaigns
- Identify additional sales opportunities – leverage relationships within services and across client to identify leads on additional sales opportunities within the customer
- Use consulting opportunities as a means of developing wider client’s opportunities and strengthening our position with the customer
- Research and understand the customer need
- Evaluate customer political climate - Determines key decision-makers and influencers; uncovers informal networks within the customer; builds relationships and credibility within the organization.
- Quantify opportunities – assess opportunities, use consultative selling skills to understand clients’ needs, probe for information, respond appropriately.
- Create value propositions – understand clients’ business needs and solution gaps, take a lead in developing a business solution that meets the customer need and leverages client’s product and services propositions
- Contribute to the presentation of the solution in a way that differentiates client’s from the competitors.
- Contribute to the financial assessment of the proposition in a way that allows the pursuit team to promote value over price by articulating the proposed solution in terms of business value to the customer; create and communicates an anticipated payback (ROI) for the solution.
- Ensures smooth transition between the sales process and the implementation through personal involvement in the transition
- Monitor customer satisfaction – remain visible to the customer during implementation.
Requirements
• Experience or good knowledge of the Treasury Capital Markets – experience with the Summit Trading Platform would be advantageous.
• Experience in Sales, Solution Consulting or Professional Services
• Ability to accurately forecast revenue pipeline to assist in quarterly budgeting
• Experience in value based sales with emphasis on services
• Skilled at asking key questions that helps clients to discover their needs
• Ability to present a well prepared and reasoned case, tailored to take into consideration others’ perspectives, modifying a proposition to accommodate others’ needs as appropriate coming to a win-win agreement
• Language Skills: English, Cantonese, Mandarin
