Business Development Manager – Trading Infrastructure Services recruitment

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales / Business Development Manager to join our Trading Solutions Sales division in London. You'll be joining a highly professional, successful and established sales group and will work within the institutional team who has a primary goal of developing and closing opportunities within Interactive Data's Trading Solutions capabilities. These solutions will encompass products such as Plus Feed and 7Ticks. The principal target market for this product set is Sell-side Tier 1 institutions
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining key relationships within Sell-Side Tier 1 institutions
- Liaising closely and co-ordinating with existing Sales Teams to maximise sales opportunities
- Presenting the Interactive Data message as well being able to demo the key solution offerings
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets through business development
Mandatory requirements:
- Equivalent of 5 years sales experience selling trading infrastructure/solutions and data feeds
- Excellent market knowledge including knowledge of trading room systems such as RDMS.
- Able to provide a proven track record in sales
- Established contact base in Tier 1, Sell-Side financial institutions
- Ability to co-ordinate and control an RFP process
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
