Business Development Manager – VIC, SA & TAS recruitment
This newly created role will be based in Melbourne and reports to the Southern Region Manager - Key Accounts. The position has arisen as part of the firms strategy to grow its retail footprint in the Australian market by introducing quality product to the Australian retail investing community, particularly across Global and Australian equities and Global fixed income.
You will have the following skill set: -
- Drive and develop retail sales relationships, both new and existing across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia;
- Ensure that FUM and Revenue targets are achieved ;
- Effectively communicate new sales ideas and feedback in order to generate and share new ideas, initiatives and products across the business unit;
- Understand market issues involving financial planners, research houses, industry bodies and other general industry issues;
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the marketing strategy for the retail business.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills, experience and competencies:
- Successful experience as a Business Development Manager;
- Robust networks in the southern states across Dealer Groups, Platforms, Banks, Research Houses and Boutiques;
- Solid understanding of the domestic market and current and future market trends;
- Strong investment knowledge with the ability to act as a consultant to key accounts and new clients;
- Great interpersonal, communication, presentation, team work and management skills;
- Highly motivated, with a high level of integrity and a professional collegiate style;
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in finance including RG and preferably post graduate qualifications
- RG146 Compliant.
