Job description – Business Development Manager/Quality Manager

The Role:
Based at our client’s Birtley depot and reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll enjoy a genuine operational role, offering increasing involvement and input across all the site’s commercial activities
Specifically, this will involve:
· Managing, monitoring and maintaining the in-house quality management system.
· Assisting in the improvement of investigation, analysis and reporting activities.
· Customer communication/support and an element of supplier liaison/development.
· A focus on continuous improvement and helping develop the existing strategy.
· Administration duties with some support from the Technical Administrator.
· A quality background, as well as technical experience and/or qualifications.
· Strong customer facing, communication and relationship building skills.
· The ability to plan, prioritise and action a busy and increasing workload.
· A proven track record in a similar type of commercial/QA role, gained in a related chemical, process or other stringently regulated environment.
