Business Development Marketing Associate
Located in our Norwalk, CT office, this position will support new business development and existing client needs by developing marketing materials and presentations, maintaining database of prospective health plans and government payors, identify new procurement opportunities and support all reporting needs of business development and senior management team.

This is an evolving position where the initial requirements of the job will be primarily focused on learning the Connolly business, the industry we serve, and supporting sales and marketing efforts as described below. The successful candidate must be able to achieve success performing the job duties as described and also demonstrate the potential to transition to a more senior role within the sales organization.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain prospect and client database in Salesforce.com
- Develop and generate management reports for BD team and senior management.
- Support BD team in the development of sales presentations and marketing collateral.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of applicable trade shows for Connolly Healthcare.
- Manage and oversee government procurement notification relationship to identify all possible new business opportunities
- Track competitive activity in both the commercial and government healthcare space
- Management and maintain ownership of Connolly Healthcare State Medicaid Database.
- Assist in planning and coordinating of the annual Connolly Healthcare Recovery Audit Summit
- Serve as liaison between BD team and Marketing department for all RFP activity and proposals

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- Healthcare Industry experience-required.
- 4 year college degree - BS or BA
- 3-5 years of sales, marketing and / or business development experience
- Experience working with Salesforce.com
- Familiarity with Recovery Auditing Industry - preferred
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in working with senior executives
- Strong Skills in developing Powerpoint presentations
Ability to interact with clients and senior executives
