Negotiable basic + uncapped commission

Our client is a well established independent retailer with garages around the Essex and Hertfordshire area. Specialists in recovery, servicing and car sales, recent success has won them the franchise for a major truck manufacturer and they are now looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team.

The successful candidate would ideally come from the motor industry sector and have strong business development skills. They would also have the ability to source, question, negotiate and close deals in a professional manner and maintain relations in order to sell on other services. They must be willing to work both in the car showroom as well as visiting clients on their pre-made appointments.

The role would involve making appointments with potential clients (for example local authorities, building services, plumbing/engineering and other trade companies) and either leasing or selling trucks to those clients. The other side of the role would, as mentioned, be based in the showroom selling pre-owned vehicles.

KEY SKILLS

Knowledge of the motor trade preferable
Business to business sales experience essential
Knowledge of leasing vehicles (training will be given)
Target driven
Committed and reliable
