Business Development Officer, Inside Sales recruitment
Midland American Capital is a factor and purchase order funding lender located in East Meadow on Long Island. We generate prospects through advertising. We seek an experienced banker to serve as an “inside” business development officer, who converts our advertising generated prospects into active customers. The job entails discussing the finances and particularly the working capital needs of small and middle market businesses with their owners or Presidents, and meeting those needs with Midland American products. Skills for success include a general familiarity of how businesses operate in a variety of industries, familiarity with sourcing and purchasing and familiarity with accounts receivable terms and conditions. Most importantly, the job requires an ability to build rapport and confidence during a series of phone calls with company owners, and a tenacity to “win the sale.”
