Business Development Officer – Ref.30361 recruitment

Our client, an International Bank, is looking for a Business Development officer for their Nicosia office.

Responsibilities:
~ To be responsible for managing, acquiring and developing a portfolio of Commercial relationships with professional intermediaries, both in Cyprus and internationally
~ Broaden and deepen relationships with customers, delivering appropriate products and services
~ To identify cross sales and retail opportunities from the business
~ Ensure that customer satisfaction and service excellence is achieved at all times
~ Ensure that the Bank's principles and procedures are applied, demonstrating a clear, consistent and constructive approach to all customers and actively drive revenue growth through the focus on sales within the branch
~ Responsible for attaining established individual, department and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and professional intermediary call programs

Requirements:
~ Proactive in researching and contracting prospective customers
~ Plan and prioritise own time effectively; ensure that work is actioned promptly, efficiently and within compliance regulations
~ Build rapport, trust and effective relationships with customers
~ Have an ability to communicate with a diverse range of colleagues and customers from varying backgrounds and experience and adapt their style appropriately
~ Dedicated to guiding and supporting other with a keen focus on delivering high quality solutions to meet business needs
~ Excellent knowledge of the English language both verbal and written
~ Very good knowledge of the Russian language; Greek would be considered an advantage
~ Previous experience in a customer-focused sales/relationship management environment, preferably in Banking or Financial Services
