Business Development Representative

Responsibility:

Business prospecting

Generate demand for ATT's Enterprise Application Services product portfolio.

Field inbound telephone inquiries regarding service offerings and qualifying the scope of the sales opportunity.

Follow up with customers via outbound telephone calls or emails regarding their responses to marketing activities (email campaigns, trade shows, hometown events, etc.) in order to qualify the scope of the sales opportunity.

In coordination with outside sales managers, initiate phone contact with prospects and customers to generate new sales opportunities and support regional business development activities.

Speaking face-to-face with prospects and customers at local trade shows and user group events regarding their potential interest in services in order to qualify the scope of the sales opportunity.

Lead lifecycle management:

Determining the appropriate next steps for each contact:

Escalation to account manager, Further qualification, Further cultivation, Closure, Tracking and managing (to closure) the progress of sales leads that are either escalated or designated for further cultivation.

Sales coordination and organization:

Support sales director and outside application sales in managing sales funnel, Facilitate collaboration with ATT's account management team, Provide product expertise training and coordinate outbound prospecting campaigns.

Experience Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts or technology.:

Typically has two to four years of experience in sales or sales support functions (direct sales, lead generation, customer account management, etc.), Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential,

Excellent planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills, Proficient with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office.
