BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
An Air Conditioning Expert with Proven Sales Skills is needed by rapidly growing business in Calgary.
Are you an organized outside sales person and proud of your strong customer relationship skills?
If you have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience with HVAC products (Air conditioning specifically) and you are used to selling to Engineers and other Technicians, please apply.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Create and maintain an active prospecting strategy to attract new customers
- Provide timely and professional service to maintain and grow existing account base
- Present regular training to various customers on product features and benefits
- Co-develop annual sales budget and prospecting strategy with the Sales Manager
- Provide an accurate booked sales forecast for the year and provide regular updates throughout the month
- Attend industry trade shows and customer presentations as required
- Actively gather and share relevant market intelligence with respect to general industry and competitor developments
- Attend sales meetings and other educational training seminars
- Assist the credit department with receivable issues as required
In order to be considered for this role, you will posses the following skills and attributes:
- 2 – 3 years of recent outside sales experience (inside sales may be considered) in the HVAC Industry, specifically Air Conditioning
- Post-secondary education is preferred, preferably with an emphasis on HVAC technical training, business diploma or degree would be an asset. I.T. background would also be considered an asset.
- Stable work history
- strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional, outgoing, passionate and personable
- Active involvement with networking and associations in the residential construction industry
- Reliable personal transportation with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- strong computer proficiency (Windows-based)
- Activity will be centered from Calgary, will include some travel to surrounding area
The compensation structure is base salary plus commission and bonuses. A comprehensive benefits package, car allowance and expense account are also included!
