The Scientific Sales Consultant will be based in our Madison or Milwaukee office and be responsible for Madison and surrounding areas. Not only will this include the primary focus of identifying and developing strategic business with both new and existing clients, but also driving key factors that include extensive networking, market branding, conducting seminars and presentations, and other scientific immersion activities. Through extensive, industry-leading training and a close team environment you?ll be able to: Expand new industry verticals within an existing market, including aiding in both strategic and tactical planning and implementation Nurture long-term solid partnerships with customers, providing custom outsourced business solutions that include contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire of Scientific professionals Consult with the top Scientific professionals and companies in the Madison area, utilizing your science background to understand client needs and position appropriate solutions Become an advocate of the science industry through exclusive partnerships with Biospace, AAAS, ACS, Nature, and other key leaders Ideal candidates should possess: Minimum BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar degree At least 1 year of direct experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within an industrial setting Prefer a proven track record of sales particularly new business development with a product that targets scientific end users; but willing to train a motivated individual Strong work ethic and drive to succeed, with the ability to work within a highly independent schedule that will include local travel.
