Business Development & Sales Director recruitment
This individual, who will have a strong sales mentality, will have a solid network in the industry and a deep knowledge of the PE RE administration market in order to be an active partner and advisor for internal and external clients in their product development lifecycle. Consequently, we are looking for a wide range of competencies in the areas of client relationship management, marketing, product development and on-boarding, but clearly with focus on sales.
This new role will report into the global Business Development, Client Relationships and Marketing team and work very closely with the Head of Fund Services Ireland and Jersey and our BD CRM teams in London and Dublin. Further, being part of a global BD organization, this individual will identify cross-selling opportunities for our asset servicing solutions for the whole organization.

The primary duties of the position are as follows:
• Grow the private equity and real estate fund client base and related fund assets under administration.
• Expand our network of industry contacts amongst alternative asset managers with focus on Private Equity and Real Estate, other fund service providers and consultants and further develop these distribution channels. Network with influential service providers; attorneys, audit firms, and prime brokers to obtain client referrals.
• Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities within the UBS group of companies.
• Actively work with colleagues of operational teams in Jersey, Dublin and other locations to support the development of the PE and RE capabilities
• Work with colleagues in other regions in further developing the overall marketing strategy across Fund Services.
• Be innovative in identifying and developing new distribution / sales channels.
• Attendance and participation at fund industry events.
• Negotiation of fees in line with agreed parameters.
• Building and maintaining excellent long-term client relationships based on an understanding of client needs.
• Client presentations, proposals, negotiation and acquisition.
• Marketing Support: collect and track data concerning the market, competitors and benchmarks, supporting our various marketing activities, development of promotional material.
• Maintenance of pipeline documentation for new business; report client/prospect activity to senior management in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Strong experience of the Funds Industry with distinct know how in the area of Private Equity and Real Estate administration and strong understanding of the PE and RE fund administration competitive landscape
- Large, effective network in the PE RE fund industry in UK / Ireland / Jersey / etc.
- Knowledge of Ucits regulations and the current regulatory landscape.
- Strong experience in a relevant Sales and Marketing role, with experience and evidenced success in achieving demanding sales targets.
- Be technically familiar with the operational complexities of PE RE as well as Ucits products
- Aptitude to deal autonomously with client/prospect issues/projects
