Business Development Sales Manager recruitment

Role Description:

The Business Development Sales Manager is responsible generating revenue through contacting potential clients to generate qualified sales. The role is also responsible for the providing timely and reliable management information that supports the business strategy, goals and objectives. The Business Development Sales Manager is also responsible for ensuring delivery of top line revenue and profit, developing loyalty from existing customers, attracting new customers and building significant brand equity. An experienced sales individual for the generation of new business opportunities

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Responsible for targets relating to customer revenues outside of Thebe's current footprint, tracking results and profitability of all channels and customer retention

•To lead the customer strategy from a detailed understanding of both current and potential customers, ensuring a focus on long term direction and commercial value, and proactively driving forward activation strategies, retention and revenue

•Actively research for potential clients across various industry sectors, call agreed prospects and collect information for company profiles

•Drive sales through targets and KPI’s

•Elicit client needs and help draft proposals

•Record all information on the company database

•Prepare presentations, attend client meetings

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL:

•You must be HUNTER capable of delivering multiple deals of a minimum 1.5 million, with a proven track record

•You will need to demonstrate extensive Business Development experience of a similar nature in a highly competitive environment.

•You must be goal orientated with good determination to succeed within the business

•A HUNTER mentality is ESSENTIAL

•Solid experience selling and managing strategic accounts in a trade network or trade technology background

•Ability to penetrate top institutions and decision makers in region. (this needs to be demonstrated)

•Sales experience within the Financial Trading Markets Organisational and time management skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

•Previous experience in the oil, insurance, finance, energy, pharmaceuticals and or mining background is beneficial

•Proven experience in managing/understanding supply chain activities

•Proven understanding of the Professional Services environment

•Experience in identifying and leading on business improvement activities

•Well developed understanding of marketing and business development strategy and implementation

•Demonstration of delivering ROI and strong leadership skills are a prerequisite

•Ability to evaluate and drive change across the business to translate business requirements into actionable plans and strategies

•Also involve the negotiation of client contracts and licenses for renewals and new revenue streams

•You must be goal orientated with good determination to succeed within the business

•A HUNTER mentality is ESSENTIAL

•Be accountable for developing new business relationships (and maintaining existing) generating and winning new business

•Ability to manage a deal process from start to finish including Cold Calling, Business Development, Deal Closing
