Business Development Specialist
Job Summary:
Responsible for cultivating and developing existing Mid-Market customers and acquiring new one’s that lead to an increase in sales of the organization's products and/or services in all sales channels. Sales efforts are performed through telemarketing methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Essential Job Functions (other duties may be assigned):
- Achieve sales quotas in assigned territory.
- Develops and maintains solid business relationships that lead to account growth and retention.
- Discovers and explores new business opportunities and implements profitable strategies.
- Sells additional products that company develops to maintain corporate growth goals
- Maintain company database information and supply required reports.
- Responsible for agency training: develop and deliver training for clients via telephone to educate them on the products and services being provided for them.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred). 5 + years experience with a track record of achievement in telesales in a premier organization.
- Professional demeanor with a client/customer focused orientation
- Flexibility: ability to adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
- Possess a willingness and desire to collaborate with others
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work with all levels in an organization and communicate effectively with them
- Ability to develop and implement a sales plan
