In this position you will: - Investigate customer's area of interest and check the venders ability to work with us for business development - Provide basic marketing functions to our customers to identify suitable business development areas - Identify new business opportunities for PPA through the (re)sale of products or services - Work with the customers to provide a valued added service that will generate margins for PPA - Support customer's request for negotiation, problem resolution, and overall business issues - Receive orders from customers - Place orders to venders (domestic or overseas) as necessary to meet customer's delivery requirement - Track order status - confirm and negotiate delivery schedules with venders customers - Arrange import customs clearance (or transshipment) documents for import shipments as required - Coordinate shipment from the vender's facility to PPA's designated warehouse (or customer's location) - Receive goods into inventory (issue Goods Received Note "GRN") - Coordinate delivery instructions with the warehouse based on the customer's required delivery schedule - Prepare delivery order "DO" sheet to the warehouse so they can arrange delivery of the goods - Prepare PITA sales invoice to the customer for the goods delivered - Insure timely collection of account receivables from the customers - Insure timely payment of invoices to the suppliers, freight companies, warehouse companies - Summarize monthly PL and BS figures for each account - Maintain the computer system master data (customer, vender, and product) including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.) Qualifications Include: - Education: BA / BS in International business preferred - Experience: Sales administration, logistic, and international business coordination - Proficiency: Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with ERP systems helpful but not a requirement.
