Business Development – Trading recruitment
A Global organisation supplying Business and Financial information, Financial Markets knowledge and Technology solutions seek an experienced Business Developer with exposure to Trading to join a Global division within their London offices.
Profile
*You will have a strong knowledge of Financial Services, specifically Quant Trading
*Demonstrated industry leadership with a strong background in business development activities across various business environments.
*Sales management and producer activity
Specific Responsibilities:
*Lead Business Development activities across various Solutions areas of the business, supporting the specific strategic goals for each area in relation to revenue and operating income.
*Understand and identify future business opportunities as it relates to strategic growth of the Business Unit:
oResearching, identifying, and acquiring new business partners
oNegotiating terms and structuring ongoing engagements
oManaging existing business relationships
*Demonstrate a blend of strategic and operational credentials; establishes a culture focussed on creating value coupled with a culture of rapid and effective delivery of viable business opportunities
Required Skills:
Strong Business Leader with ability to Execute: Demonstrated track record of successful Business Development Activities which reflect directly on new and existing revenue and operating income
Sales: Strong sales management with history of being a top performer
Strategic Acumen: Develops a clear and compelling vision and strategy that will help constantly support and transform the products within the business unit
Leads People to Perform and Drive Execution in a Complex Organization: Anticipates and probes issues and contingencies with the early involvement of others, creates a culture that translates strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables. Drives accountability and makes timely decisions and tough calls on enterprise issues and opportunities
People Skills and Management Development Capabilities: Has worked within and helped establish high-performing working cultures, teams and leadership across the organization. Strong team player with ability to both perform as independent contributor or as a team manager (small team 3-5 people)
Strategist: Possess the ability to balance the role of strategist while simultaneously managing and delivering results in a transforming, entrepreneurial, and fast paced environment
Communication: Applies inspiring and articulate verbal and written communication ability to translate the vision/strategy into clear priorities and direction. Drives organizational change through skilled communications; effective at collaborating across organizations functions
Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent required
