Business Devlopment Manager recruitment

Sunsuper was established in 1987 as an independent, multi-industry superannuation fund. Today, Sunsuper is one of Australia’s largest industry funds with more than one million members and around $19 billion in funds under management.

You will conduct an analysis of existing and high potential clients for your territory, to develop a sales/account management plan and call cycle. You will support employers with superannuation education, technical knowledge and presentations. Providing expert advice, identifying ways to add-value and building relationships with decision makers (HR, payroll, business and financial managers), will see you develop long term business partnerships.

In addition, you will identify, leverage and educate referral sources (existing employers, accounting / financial planning firms, local chambers of commerce), so they become advocates. Your aim is become the irresistible, first choice, super provider and gain members through acquisition and switch. The best become trusted advisors to their clients and go home each week knowing they have made a real difference.

This newly created role gives you total ownership of your territory and clients, in an organisation whose size and scope offers employment stability and long term career progression. A Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or equivalent and RG146 compliance in Superannuation and Insurance is essential.

Management experience in Business Development would be advantageous.
