Job Description
We are looking for a credible, communicative and proactive personality with in a sales environment in the financial industry in Germany. The challenging role requires a “sales-minded" personality with an appetite to bring the business further. Through our existing network and client base in German speaking Europe you will develop and help to acquire new business for the branch. The role represents an opportunity for a Junior specialist to join a smaller, more entrepreneurial set up where he/she can develop his/her career further with more autonomy and flexibility. The candidate should have knowledge of Fixed Income products for institutional clients or on the whole sales distribution.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience in Client Relationship or and support in an investment management firm, custodian or investment management consultant.
- Degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
- MBA, CFA, CPA or progress towards these advanced degrees a plus.
- Commitment to satisfying internal and external clients.
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
- Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility in understanding others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Accustomed to working in a team oriented environment.
- Work cooperatively with others to accomplish goal objectives.
Client Relationship
- Candidates should have detailed knowledge of institutional investments or whole sales products or/ and investment funds.
- Your principal accountabilities will include:
- Provide an exceptional level of relationship and sales support to clients, acting as the first contact for a client in the Client Relationship Manager’s absence.
- Own and co-ordinate the successful resolution of client enquiries, liaising and utilizing expertise from around the business.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting packs for client meetings and new business pitches.
- Maintain excellent working relationships around key business areas at all times.
- Work with in areas of expertise around the business to project manages ad-hoc queries and data requests, through completion in line with client expectations.
Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and institutional or whole sales client experience.
- Strong workflow management experience.
- Good investment knowledge in the Fixed Income industry including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options.
- Report writing experience and project management skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
