Business Executive – Midlands & West Region recruitment

GRG is at the leading edge of a wider rescue culture and is a major contributor to the bottom line of the RBS Group. We work closely with stressed trading businesses to restructure their debt and help restore them to health. GRG also has a major role to play in reducing the Group’s non-core property exposures and re-building the strength of the UBG Balance sheet.
In this role you will assist in the overall risk management of customer relationships and transactions and assist the Team in achieving a number of financial targets including debt reduction, increased margins, fees etc. In addition you will also maximize risk management and gain appropriate returns for risks involved and carry out customer calls both face to face and over the phone (on going reviews).
To succeed in this varied and challenging position, you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in Loans / Lending department (ideally stressed loans)
- Risk management Credit analysis experience
- Experienced Report writer
- Advanced Excel word
- Numerical and Analytical experience, an accounting background or similar would be ideal
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills including experience in challenging situations
- Ability to assist in interpreting audited accounts and experience of cash flows.
- Hold QFA qualification or equivalent or commitment to obtain within specified timeframe of taking up position.
