Business Finance Associate – Global iShares Finance recruitment
The Business Finance Organization
plays a critical role as trusted business partners to BlackRock's
business units, supporting all analysis, reporting and planning
needs of the respective businesses. We produce budgets, short
and long range forecasts; create and analyze business metrics and
identify cost savings opportunities; deliver economic insight into
the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the
financial success of the business going forward.
Retail
and iShares Business Finance directly support a portion of the
client facing organization at BlackRock. This role is within
the Global iShares Finance team and supports the Global iShares
business. iShares is BlackRock's exchange traded fund
franchise and is the market leader within this product set -

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Global Finance forecast process including
coordinator with iShares business finance and central
finance. - Understand regional drivers, levers and
anticipated P L results. - Create a conhesive story around results and
present data ina simple clear manner. Communicate results to
senior management and highlight trends, risks and
opportunities. - Build and maintain high-level knowledge across
all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges
and opportunities across the organization. Develop an understanding
of critical business performance drivers. - Build and own 5 year model projections of
iShares financial performance. Complete sensitivity analyses and ad
hoc analytics to articulate key levers to management. - Own expense reporting for key spend lines within
Global iShares (TE, data subscriptions, legal fees). Develop
presentation materials to articulate expense trends and dynamics to
management. - Support client view reporting for Global iShares
- understand US fund flows across regions including key fund
dynamics and impact of changing market sentiment / investor demand
on iShares results. - Drive improvement and content around financial
processes, including continued automation of management
reporting. - Role reports directly to the Direction of Global
iShares Finance and requires significant interaction with business
partners. Role also interacts heavily with Finance colleagues
across BlackRock.

Qualifications:
- Strong contributor with ability to deliver in
fast paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands.
Intellectually curious with the ability to take initiative and
deliver results in a matrixed organization. - Ability to synthesize and analyze large
quantities of data to create useful information and concise
analyses; ability to effectively manage projects; results oriented
and able to "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish necessary
tasks. - 3-5 years of relevant work experience with
excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to develop executive level
presentations. - Excellent excel and database skills with
experience using financial planning applications. - BS/BA or higher in Accounting or
Finance.
