Business Financial Reporting + Control – Top Tier Investment Bank : Cross Product Focus recruitment
Top Tier Investment Bank looking for an Associate to join their Financial Reporting Control group.
The group is responsible for the co-ordination, management, consolidation and review of the Global Banking Markets Financial data and Statutory disclosures on group systems, Managing the consolidation process, control the central population of certain statutory disclosures and produce consolidated commentaries and analysis.
It is Centre of Excellence for all Statutory reporting requirements and disclosures
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Control and maintenance of the Derivatives reporting system
- Manage the GM Intercompany Matching Database, including production, review and clearance of the Intercompany Mismatch Report for all Singapore units and support for other regions.
- Support the production and control of all Statutory financial supplemental data for all units in accordance with IFRS, as required for completion of the Group’s Financial Statements or periodic statutory reporting
- Support the provision of all necessary consolidation or legal entity adjustments to ensure the appropriate reporting of the divisional financial statements, including full substantiation and review thereon
- Support the production and control of all Statutory financial supplemental data for certain units in FIPM, STMF, Credit Markets, Rates, Options Western Europe
- Manage the production, publication, review and escalation of metrics reporting and interpretation to highlight key risks, issues or failures in respect to timeliness, quality or responsiveness thereon
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Accounting Standards, under UK, IFRS and US
- Good Microsoft product knowledge, Excel, Word, Outlook and ideally Access
- Recognised professional accounting qualification or moving towards qualification
