Business Implementation Manager – OTC Derivatives recruitment
Summary
Cognizant's Business Consulting Banking and Financial Services practice is working closely with a leading Investment Bank to work on a critical, large scale OTC Derivatives project. The objective is to achieve and ensure regulatory compliance across its client base.
Due to this project, we required an experienced Business Implementation Manager for a Central Clearing Project to drive the scope and requirements gathering of various work streams in the program, coordinate multiple teams and external clients for a complex client onboarding within the derivatives space.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client implementations of Central Clearing (Dodd-Frank Title VII) coordinating a team of highly matrixed resources. Ensure delivery meets all business / client requirements
- Responsible for project scope, project plan, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Work closely with internal departments, external partners, and clients to ensure implementation of new capabilities, and enhancement to existing capabilities are successfully delivered on-time
- Set and continually manage project expectations with sponsors
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues and conflicts within the project.
Skills Experience
- You will have good knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: OTC Derivatives Clearing (desired), Fund Accounting, OTC Derivatives Instruments
- Demonstrable experience of using MS Office tools including Power Point, Word, Excel, Projects and Visio.
- Have a ‘Can-Do' attitude
- Experience co-ordinating with multiple functional teams and external clients on a complex client on-boarding within the Derivatives space.
- Project leadership capability, business analysis, client management and cross functional team leadership skills
- Ability to work in a pressured environment with external clients.
- Proven ability to balance multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines with conflicting priorities
- Clear and effective communication both verbally and written
