Business Information Analyst

We are now searching for highly talented individuals to join our team as a Business Information Analyst in our San Mateo, CA office (near San Francisco, CA) or Camas, WA office (near Portland, OR).
Job Summary:
The Business Information Analyst supports Client Services through advanced analysis and design, maintenance, and implementation of reports and databases. The individual will also be responsible for having extensive working knowledge of and ownership over the reporting and data. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to apply their quantitative experience to business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to support and evaluate business decisions
- Design statistically significant tests to evaluate new initiatives
- Make business recommendations based on critical analysis
- Gain and maintain knowledge of Fisher Investments’ data architecture, reporting structure, and reporting/analysis tools
- Work closely with management to understand business processes and data, and structure appropriate and accurate analyses.
- Maintain a high-level of accuracy and timeliness while managing multiple requests with varying complexities and due dates
- Identify ways to streamline reporting by recommending items for automation, re-structuring, or elimination
- Author and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation detailing current reporting instructions
- Periodically audit existing reporting to ensure accuracy and relevance

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education/experience; math, applied math, statistics, science or engineering major preferred
- Intermediate statistical analysis, quantitative, data analysis, and analytical thinking skills required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritize across various tasks, manage changes in daily workload, and operate under several simultaneous deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel
- Comfortable in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
