Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst II Job ID: 16175 Location: VA- Vienna (HDQ) Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Basic Purpose: To provide Navy Federal business owners with actionable insights for use in strategic/daily decision making and business-case development. To utilize comprehensive, comparative and predictive research and analysis of member, financial and economic data and competitive and external environments. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Level I: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience * Experience in a financial services, research, consulting or marketing environment * Good verbal, written and communication skills * Experience applying statistical analysis techniques to large quantities of data * Experience with research and evaluation of complex business questions or problems * Experience creating and executing reports and queries, and analyze results * Experience participating in project teams * Working experience developing reports and analyses which have low to moderate organizational impact * Experience interacting with department-level leadership. Level II: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience * Experience in a financial services, research, consulting or marketing environment * Experience participating in organizational initiatives of strategic importance * Demonstrated skill in capturing and manipulating qualitative and quantitative data and evaluating similar output from junior analysts * Working knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, etc. * Strong verbal, written and communication skills Demonstrated experience using standard models, statistical applications and techniques * Experienced developing comprehensive plans to address high level or complex business unit initiatives * Experience in business case development and evaluation * Experience developing presentations of complex information for management consumption * Experience interacting with senior organizational leadership Level III: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience * Extensive experience in a financial services, research, consulting or marketing environment * Demonstrated experience working with Senior Management to assess and impact senior level strategic initiatives * Demonstrated experience influencing and supporting corporate strategy through persuasive presentation and detailed business analysis * Demonstrated experience developing and using advanced models, statistical applications and technique * Thorough knowledge of principles and processes of consumer products and services, to include needs assessment, marketing strategy, product/service quality standards, and satisfaction evaluations * Thorough knowledge and understanding of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, etc. * Progressive experience developing comprehensive plans to address high level or complex business initiatives * Strong knowledge information dissemination techniques and methods * Experienced in business case development and evaluation * Experienced communicating complex technical material and abstract concepts to senior leadership and other non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner * Progressive experience in an informal mentoring, and/or leadership role Desired: * Advanced degree in statistics, marketing, management, finance, economics or related fields e.g. psychology * Certifications in New Product Development and/or Regulatory Compliance (e.g., certifications through NCUA, CUNA, Product Development Management Association, etc.) * Thorough understanding of Navy Federal business goals and operations Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Equal Employment Opportunity Navy Federal Credit Union values, celebrates and enacts diversity in the workplace.
