My client is a leading, established, international Consulting organisation, who are currently in the process of expanding their Business Intelligence Practice. Leveraging on their extensive client list, they have been able to secure a large pipeline of BI reporting work across a range of industry verticals.
I am currently seeking a cross-skilled BI professional, who has a solid understanding of Business Intelligence, front end reporting methodologies. Due to the large volumes of work, this role will involve someone who has the capability to learn new technologies quickly.
The role:
- Work on site with an established list of clients, implementing and delivering Business Intelligence Report solutions.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and clients on a regular basis, analysing business requirements and delivering BI solutions to agreed outcomes.
- Be the Business Intelligence 'SME' when on client sites. Mentoring and guiding end user staff. Assisting in training where necessary.
- Review and improve BI reporting strategies of clients.
Required experience and qualifications:
- Strong, working knowledge of at least 2 Business Intelligence. Reporting tools. (SSRS, Business Objects or Cognos preferred).
- Excellent understanding of Business Intelligence methodologies.
- Experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment, able to work with complex data models and different schemas.
- Previous consulting experience would be highly regarded, but not essential.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working across a range of industry verticals, including Financial Services and Utilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different layers of stakeholders and management is paramount.
