Business Intelligence Developer recruitment
My client is looking for a talented BI professional with the knwoedge and passion to help drive their established and growing team to meet rapidly increasing deliverables and business exposure.
Key Accountabilities
- Primary responsibilities will be, but not limited to, developing, implementing and managing SQL Server-based Business Intelligence solutions to enhance existing and future business processes
- Collaborate with business users to gather and define requirements and develop reporting applications.
- Drive best practices and help build a mature framework across the entire system.
- Participate in the definition, review and execution of data management, metadata definitions, ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence architecture, deliverables, strategies, standards and best practices. Knowledge and skill requirements
- 4+ years of experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite of ETL tools preferred, other ETL tools acceptable
- Experience leading medium to large scale Data Integration projects
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse Architectures
- Knowledge of Data Profiling and Data Quality concepts and techniques automation of processes using scripts.
- Must be a self-starter, and able to work productively under minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical thinking and desire to solve problems.
- Ensures strong interaction and communication occurs between business users
- Willingness to work closely with business and end users to achieve business goals
