Business Intelligence – Executive Advisor recruitment

Our Business Intelligence team focuses on assisting clients to execute their strategy by optimising the use of Management Information and Business Intelligence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Taking a lead role in executing large client programmes, delivering the highest quality service to our clients, meeting and exceeding their expectations
- Leading Business Development initiatives, including bid proposal and contract / commercial management and building and maintaining clients
- Creating innovative and successful consulting solutions that enhance, integrate and expand our Business Intelligence capability as a whole.
- Developing and sustaining new client relationships and helping to enhance the reputation of KPMG as advisor of first choice for Business Intelligence
- Playing a lead role in helping to develop our core BI propositions, products and services to meet client needs
- Clearly articulate the BI proposition to clients and internal staff, acting as a champion for BI across the firm • Taking a key role in the growth of the BI team and supporting the development of other team members through coaching and mentoring
- Managing your own development in accordance with agreed personal and team goals
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical, strategic and commercial experience with the ability to apply their skills in a dynamic, commercial environment
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to identify profitable opportunities for growing the business
Experience and Background
- Track record of selling and delivering complex large-scale consultancy projects and services (1m+ p.a.)
- Broad knowledge of the finance function and the importance of management information with organisations
- Experience working within an advisory practice in Performance Management, Strategy or IT led projects.
- Ability to work with business users to define detailed information requirements
- Experienced Enterprise Information Architects with strong conceptual and logical data modelling skills.
- Ability work with solution architects and DBAs to build performant data architectures
- Experience of designing information architectures for BI solutions in batch and real-time load environments
- Related BI experience in Data Governance, Business Analytics, Master Data Management, and Information Integration, including Data Quality and Data Management
- Experience of design and implementation of common BI applications, Data Warehouse technologies and ETL tools such as Oracle Hyperion, SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, SAS, Teradata, Informatica, etc.
