Business Intelligence/Reporting Analyst

Position Description

This position will provide performance reporting for the Morgan Stanley Firmwide Sourcing group within the Re-engineering Expense Management department.
-Global manager leading a centralized reporting team for sourcing business intelligence
-Design/develop/deploy sophisticated reporting solutions to enable meaningful performance analysis across all levels of Sourcing.  
-Lead ad hoc report creation using SQL, Access, Excel, and other platform that are available.
-Ensure accuracy of reports
-Recommend improvements to reports or reporting methods to assist in the management of established key metrics
-Create and maintain process documentation for all reporting processes and procedures
-Face-off with IT partners to document functional specifications for future technological enhancements of core reporting systems
-Lead user-acceptance testing as needed to ensure successful deployment of new/enhanced system developments

Skills Required

-Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, MS Acess and Visual Basic experience.
-Extensive database experience, preferably SQL
-Experience using Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports
-Proven ability to increase efficiency through automation while maintaining data integrity
-Working knowledge of the project lifestyle including user acceptance testing.
-Strong presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)
