Overview:

Deutsche Bank (DB) is not fully compliant with BaFin regulations (MaRisk BTR 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 respectively) relating to banking book positions with market risk. The MaRisk Reporting Programme has now been initiated to put this reporting in place and subsequently solve outstanding KPMG audit points form 2009 and 2012 MRM Bafin points.

Also as part of the new capital requirements under CRDIV DB is required to make certain new deductions and adjustments. Amongst these changes is the requirement that investments in other Financial sector entities ('FSE') be analysed and where appropriate give rise to a capital charge. DB currently has a very tactical solution to support this calculation and as such has initiated a formal project to deliver a more strategic platform.

The role sits in the Business, Design and Architecture ('BDA') function which is accountable for the design of change solutions to Group Finance and Treasury problems, and the engagement of GT infrastructure for the delivery of those solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform lead BA and own content of business requirements around the Marisk and FSE projects.

* Define with the relevant stakeholders what is needed and how that fits with our overall program of change, and work with GT to ensure it can be delivered.
* Provide liaison for the rest of Finance into GT infrastructure and the other change functions within DB, as both the advisor to how that change should be affected, and the enabler to translate the requirements for GT to execute.
* Detailed business analysis and documentation of business requirements
* Continuous provision of subject matter support throughout project delivery lifecycle
* Keeping abreast of any technical content changes and advising project manager on potential impact to the deliverable
* Understanding relationships to and dependencies on the wider Finance book of Change
* Provide oversight and direction to the GBS backfill resources.
* Manage a team of 4 DDA analysts across the 2 projects
* Lead the program business analysis function for Marisk and FSE
* Closure of KPMG FV audit point in 2013 for marisk
* Confirmation of co-mingled banking book and trading book populations
* Delivery of master record table for bamking book positions
* Deliver of strategic FSE calculation tool
* Development of Target operating Models for both projects

You will have:

* A working understanding of CRDIV, particularly around new capital requirements
* Advanced analytical skills problem solving experience
* Ability to lead coach more junior BAs work at pace
* Sustained exposure to liaising internally with IT teams and business users in the context of programme deliverables/or extensive business facing finance experience
* A highly mature and professional candidate who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and works with minimum supervision
* Excellent communicator, articulate and well presented. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of management and to a wide range of stakeholders across multiple topics
* A lateral thinker who can explore concepts "outside the box" in search of improvements to current processes and design of solutions for current book of work.
* A good background understanding of the Deutsche Bank organisation, its Finance Risk reporting requirements related systems landscape
