Business Leader – Dubai recruitment
The role holder will lead and deliver targeted results across customer service as well as hold PL responsibilities. The main focus is on ensuring delivery of service according to prescribed standards and complying with policies and procedures.
Shareholder and Financial:
Define operational strategy to support and in line with overall business strategies.
Develop/create the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes, pertaining to the Business Operations and monitor the achievements of its individual departments/ units on periodic basis.
Lead and guide the annual budgeting process for Business Operations and the subsequent monitoring thereof. Will be managing PL of USD 50M.
Ensure the existence of adequate procedures/ processes to enable timely identification and resolution of instances of erroneous processing so as to avoid any financial/ reputation loss to
the Company.
Customer:
Ensure the provision of adequate and efficient processing services pertaining to Clients, resolving their queries/ problems and thereby help them serve their respective external customers in a more efficient manner, resulting in increased external customer satisfaction levels.
Develop/ finalize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/ units to achieve improvements in turnaround time (TAT) with respect to processing of transactions for the respective departments/ divisions/ units.
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all the other related departments.
Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):
Ensure the existence of adequate and robust processes and controls (automated/ manual) to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Ensure adequate internal controls, policies/ procedures exist pertaining to processing of transactions conducted by the operations units/ departments, in compliance with the applicable regulations.
Ensure reduction in processing errors by staff engaged in processing the related transactions through a combination of system controls, supervisory review and established/ approved procedures.
Monitor and assess the Business Operations by reviewing daily exception reports and discussing significant matters with the heads of departments in order to ensure that the Company is not exposed to any related risk and that its revenues are optimized.
Review, validate and approve processes and procedures as per the incumbent’s delegated authority.
Ensure daily activity of Business Operations personnel is subjected to adequate monitoring controls by the respective department heads through review of daily activity reports.
Ensure productivity control and efficiency measurements are in place. Also, continually review related reports for monitoring and control of the same.
Ensure proper segregation of duties exists amongst staff working in Business Operations.
Evaluate existing as well as new products/ services and provide recommendations on ways to improve the effectiveness/ efficiency of the transactions related to the same.
Candidate Profile:
- Masters in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 15 -18 years in the Banking and BPO industry with special emphasis on various departments of Banking Operations. Exposure to Banking Captive Operations will be of significant advantage
- Must be managing over 1000 FTEs in current role, with independant PL responsibility
- Computer literacy and knowlwdge in MS Office and Bank applications
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
