Description
The incumbent directly and through his/her line of business controllership organization is responsible for supporting the Director of Investment Services Transformation with process reengineering, database management, management reporting, business analysis and decision support. This is accomplished through a process of financial planning, forecasting, measurement, review and analysis. That includes Transformation project costs and synergy saves validation, tracking and reporting to ensure data integrity and accuracy, Workstreams management reporting and analysis, evaluation of individual project with business partners to ensure full compliance with the program criteria, key business measures and monitoring the financial impact of business initiatives. The incumbent is also responsible for the oversight of certain financial accounting, reconciliation functions that exist within or sponsors multiple lines of business or legal entities that exist to support these lines of business.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a B.A./B.S. in Business or equivalent experience; M.B.A. or C.P.A. preferred. Eight to Ten (8-10) or more years progressive accounting and financial analysis experience with at least five (5) years of management experience; in-depth broad-based knowledge of advanced financial management concepts, e.g., discounted cash flow analyses, net interest margin and funding, and managerial accounting and reporting concepts and processes and highly-specialized knowledge of and experience in business-specific requirements of the area/s supported; excellent communication (verbal, written), presentation, and consultative skills.
