Due to the continued growth of Macquarie Leasing, there is an opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the team. Reporting to the Senior Manager your role will be focused on management reporting and business and funding analysis for Macquarie Leasing.
This team is responsible for Funding, Strategy and Business Management for the Macquarie Leasing business. This role is highly analytical and requires a candidate who is commercially minded yet comfortable getting involved in the detail and hands on reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Funding
- Support the ongoing management of term and warehouse securitisation relationships
- Preparation of reporting and forecasting of business funding requirements
Strategy
- Analysis of proposed new products and new business
- Ongoing involvement in process improvement reviews
Business Management
- Preparation of monthly management pack
- Supporting the annual budget and budget re-forecasting process
- Financial analysis of business expense trends, business channel profitability, introducer profitability
- Analysis of business arrears loss performance
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualified
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role and environment
- Professional experience within the leasing industry is preferable
- Experienced management accountant with strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to liaise at all levels and communicate complex information
- Experience in Funding/Treasury/Securitizations
- Advanced MS Excel skills
