Share with Facebook Friends Upload Resume Email It Save it | Follow Company Start New Search Company: JPMorgan Chase Base Pay: N/A Other Pay: Employee Type: Full-Time Manages Others: No Job Type: Information Technology Report It The IT Risk Security Management Business Manager position has responsibility for providing strategy, analysis and the creation of management materials supporting staffing, efficiency, quality and controls that are directly related to the running of the firm-wide business of IT Risk. This role is responsible for functions such as resource strategy, financial strategy, communications strategy, organizational implementations and process optimization. The individual in this role will report to the head of IT Risk Business Operations. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Develop, maintain, and communicate business strategy: o Document long term, multi-year vision and goals for each discipline. o Define the business framework encompassing key investments, initiatives, products and services. o Collaborate with lines of business, operations, and technology staff to ensure the right level of engagement necessary to effect the agenda. o Ensure strategy is aligned and communicated up, down and across the organization. Track and manage progress against strategic goals and objectives: o Facilitate regular Business Reviews between the Chief Information Risk Officer and IT Risk sub function managers, including LOB IRMs. o Develop a business performance reporting program with meaningful metrics on project execution and service delivery. Continuously improve the business management of the firm-wide risk organization: o Maintain a continuous focus on productivity enhancement, improved controls and financial discipline. o Define resource strategy including functional taxonomy, utilization and capacity analysis. o Provide strategic planning and a framework for the management of firm-wide IT Risk talent. o Define space requirements to support current resource plans and longer term location strategy for optimal footprint. o Provide analysis and coordination for ad hoc business related matters. o Leverage knowledge vendor research and partnerships to provide advisement and strategic solutions to the IT risk organization. Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience including advanced business analysis skills. Business process improvement mindset with a drive for controls, automation and efficiency. Experience developing executive level presentations. Expert ability to process and analyze data using Excel, MS Access and other tools. Strong analytical skills and experience building metric based solutions. Experience with IT risk management and security. Proven critical thinking ability; can understand all the information available, tie it all together, and speak to it clearly and concisely. Proven track record driving significant improvements and excellence within an organization. Ability to develop and lead improvement initiatives in a cross line of business technology organization, build rapport and garner respect in a collaborative cross-cultural environment. Strong written and verbal presentation skills to a wide variety of senior managers across the organization. Collaborative style and ability to build the appropriate relationships, including ability to interact with senior levels of management. Demonstrated capability of designing and implementing global best practices and processes. Proven excellence to deliver critical solutions in a global, complex organization.
