Business Management Support Officer recruitment
This management support role is in the UK regional team, which covers the following main responsibilities:
- Maintains effective and efficient cost controls across risk functions for various cost types and coordinates sign-offs in accordance with cost guidance policy
- Coordinates activities across various office management tasks, e.g. user equipment procurement, premises space moves
- Manages the interface with supporting units in the region, i.e. HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Controlling, CREAS
- Provides ad hoc support for key initiatives, coordinates business-wide action plans and information sourcing
- Maintains functional business continuity recovery plans on behalf of regional Risk crisis management, coordinates BCM testing activities and provides crisis management support
Job Description
Support both the UK regional business manager and the global business managers, which are also located in London.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Business Continuity Management, e.g. working with management to ensure suitable and consistent recovery capabilities and crisis escalation plans are maintained, recovery sites tested, call out trees updated and regular awareness sessions organised
- Headcount resource controls, e.g. maintaining Organisation Unit (OU) data, Interns/GTP program tracking, information barriers, access controls
- Financials and cost controls, e.g. cost approval process, cost reviews, approval matrices, cost allocations
- Support various procurement processes, e.g. IT End User Product ordering
- Support reorganisations, e.g. premises move plans
- Ad hoc analysis to support management decisions and involvement in various projects and initiatives
- Additional responsibilities may include providing general management support for risk functions without functional business managers.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent paired with some work experience in similar roles
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Very delivery focused - used to working independently to fixed deadlines and able to multi-task in short time frames
- Able to work effectively with senior managers, peers and support functions across different areas and regions
- Good MS Excel skills in terms of pivoting/filtering/sorting/formulae are essential
- A good grasp of MS PowerPoint; some project management experience would be advantageous
