Business Manager

Our client, a leading pensions firm, currently seeks a Business Manager, to be based in London.

The Business Manager will be responsible for:

-Supporting the MD on cultural change across the organisation

-Responsible for measuring, monitoring and assessing compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

-Implementing change in tandem with the programme and project managers

-Liaising with the Board on strategic and urgent issues

-Developing and supporting infrastructural change (including IT, Compliance, HR, Facilities, and Secretariat)

As such, the successful Business Manager will have the following skills and experience:

-Strong project management experience to support planning, delivery and monitoring

-Good understanding of management and leadership values

-Experience of delivering 'change'

-Strong adherence to confidentiality and discretion

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a guardian and mentor

-Strong influencing skills including the ability to secure the trust of key internal stakeholders on critical issues;

-A focus on delivery and the ability to prioritise workload/manage key stakeholders

-An ability to work successfully with Trustees and external parties

-Degree educated or equivalent, with an analytical background

-A relevant business qualification (e.g. an MBA) would be an advantage
