Business Manager - CRO Division, London
A senior position for an experienced risk manager at a European Investment Bank, managing, coordinating and administrating initiatives of the CRO division in London. Organisational and functional responsibilities include:
- Managing and Coordinating internal asset-specific discussions globally, focusing on all aspects of Market Risk and Valuations across all teams within the Market Risk division.
- Coordinating contributions to the system initiatives and upgrades, as well as New Product Process.
- Taking ownership of monthly Risk Operating Committee, across Market Risk, Credit Risk and Operational Risk.
- Coordinating and writing Presentations to Board and Regulators.
This is a new hire to take on some of the workload from the Head of Market Risk, who is also facing off to the regulators in relation to all areas of risk within the business. The responsibilities can and will increase according to the knowledge of the individual joining the business and driving these initiatives forward.
Desired Experience
Understanding of a wide range of traded financial products
Solid foundation across different risk types (market, credit, liquidity, operational risk)
Previous project management experience
Ability to work independently
