Business Manager
Our client is a global organization and a leader within its industry. They are now seeking an experienced Business Manager, an expert in Derivatives and someone to lead theIndia market
Responsibilities:
- Hybrid role covering Relationship management and Sales
- Management of selected clients to ensure high customer satisfaction level, build strategic relationships to foster long-term revenue growth
- Develop and execute on sales pipeline and actively build relationships with regulators, infrastructure providers and industry bodies inIndia
- Provide derivatives (OTC and ETD) subject matter expertise to the team in APAC, including but not limited to: participating in client/prospect meetings, conducting internal education sessions
Requirements:
- Functional knowledge of capital markets (equities, fixed income and derivatives) a major requirement to deepen the derivatives knowledge base in Asia. Experience (at least 5 yrs.) can come from employment in financial service firm or from consulting firms and system vendors specializing in derivatives.
- Experience in relationship management a major requirement as the role is expected to coverIndiamanaged accounts and develop relationships with regulators, infrastructures and industry bodies.
- Prior experience withIndiaregulatory-industry relations is secondary consideration. The person can be trained to develop this skill.
- Sales experience desirable but not required.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work in networked environment (not position-conscious)and can adapt to various personality types.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to effectively interact with people at various levels in the organization (internal/external)
- Specific knowledge of derivatives post-trade operations and reconciliation process. ETD and collateral management background preferred but not required.
- Related experience to be considered a plus: banking/trading knowledge in derivatives (ETD or OTC), collateral management, securities lending, repo and margining activities.
